The Kroger Co. is seeking a Grocery Clerk for Bakery/Deli to create an outstanding customer experience. You will ensure a safe, clean environment and assist in achieving department sales goals while delivering high-quality products.

You will prepare items per customer requests, offer samples, manage inventory, and uphold food safety standards. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential for this role in a fast-paced store setting.

Formación

• Ability to obtain a current food handler's permit after employment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer samples to help customers discover items and inform them of specials.
• Ensure product freshness by checking sell-by dates and proper temperatures.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Assist department manager in meeting sales and profit goals and follow QA standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures, food safety regulations and reporting issues to management.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to create a welcoming store experience.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
