Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the Bakery department. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and help maintain fresh, attractive baked goods in a busy store bakery environment.

Qualifications

• No HS diploma required or equivalent accepted
• Up to six months of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly service at the bakery
• Assist customers in finding products and taking orders
• Monitor product freshness, appearance, and supply levels
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods from cooler/freezer
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep work area clean
• Operate the department register to process payments
