Festival Foods in La Crosse, WI seeks a dedicated Baker to join our team. Reports to Bakery Department Manager. You’ll craft bakery items and pastries for events and everyday moments, delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining safety standards, assisting guests, monitoring stock, and collaborating with Bakery associates to meet department goals. Schedules include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer focus when assisting guests and handling questions.
• Ability to solve issues quickly in a dynamic store environment.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and sanitation practices.
• Understanding of retail food business and perishable departments.

Responsibilities

• Recipe & Production Control: Follow recipes and production lists to ensure quality.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to health department guidelines and sanitation practices.
• Guest Service: Assist guests, take special orders, address concerns.
• Stock Monitoring: Track stock levels and plan for early mornings and evenings.
• Quality Standards: Maintain food safety logs and meet daily targets.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Bakery team to meet goals.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
