Job summary

Fiesta Mart is hiring a Bakery Clerk at Store 079 Houston-Westheimer to deliver friendly service and support daily bakery operations in a fast-paced grocer environment.

The role involves assisting customers, stocking and rotating bakery displays, and coordinating with the Baker for special orders and decor. A Food Handler/Card certification is preferred and lifting up to 60 pounds is required as part of the job duties.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with customers and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and product pricing codes.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Explain information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the bakery.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean, stock, and rotate bakery displays and cases.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to decide items to bake or decorate.
