Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston seeks a Bakery Clerk to join Store 024 Houston-Fondren. The role focuses on friendly customer service, helping customers with bakery orders, and keeping displays fresh and clean.

Under the Bakery Manager, you will assist with special orders, coordinate with the Baker for production needs, and help maintain department cleanliness while lifting up to 60 pounds as required.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the bakery department.
• Clean shelving and display cases; rotate and stock products.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Work with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate and help with department cleaning.
