Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Bakery Clerk to join the Bakery Department under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager. The role focuses on friendly service, assisting customers with bakery purchases, maintaining displays, and supporting day‑to‑day store operations in a fast‑paced grocery environment.

Candidates should be bilingual (Spanish/English), able to read and write in both languages, and comfortable lifting up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication required.
• Read and write simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service under Bakery Manager guidance.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and take special orders.
• Clean, restock and rotate self-serve displays in front and near the bakery.
• Collaborate with the Baker on items to bake or decorate; assist in department cleaning.
