Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston, TX is seeking a Bakery Clerk – 022 Houston-S Main (ages 16-17) to join our Store Operations Team. The Bakery Clerk will assist customers with bakery purchases, stock and rotate displays, and support the Bakery Manager with daily tasks.

You should be fluent in English and Spanish, read simple instructions, and follow safety procedures. This role involves lifting up to 60 pounds and assisting with special orders in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for customer interactions and ordering.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions, labels, and notices.
• Willingness to learn standard operating procedures and safety rules.
• Basic PC skills and use of email for internal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in the Bakery department.
• Clean, stock, and rotate shelves and displays in the bakery area.
• Assist customers with special orders and work with the baker on bake/decorate needs.
• Help with department cleaning and maintaining a safe, clean work area.
• Lift and move up to 60 pounds as needed; work in a fast-paced retail environment.
