Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense understanding to follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk provides customer service and assists with bakery tasks.
• Help customers with bakery purchases and maintain self-serve displays.
• Collaborate with the Baker on items to bake or decorate and take special orders as needed.
• Assist with department cleaning and maintain store cleanliness.
