Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable; able to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Food Handlers permit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service; ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented properly.
• Maintain clean and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors, and cases.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate bakery products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy.
• Operate utensils and equipment as needed and stand for long periods.
