Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Marietta, GA is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, bake, package, and display fresh bakery items while delivering friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist the Bakery Manager with production, pricing, and merchandising; keep the area clean and safe; stock and rotate products; handle shipments and customer requests with a warm, helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude; good communication; team player.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Stand for up to 3 hours, lift up to 40 lbs, and operate basic bakery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented, with cleanliness of the area.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; sweep and keep floors free of spills.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
