Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Bakery Clerk for Store 049 Houston-Fulton. Under direct supervision of the Bakery Manager, you will assist customers, stock displays, and help with special orders in a fast-paced grocery setting.

You will work with the Bakery team to determine items to bake, decorate, and display, while ensuring cleanliness and food safety in the bakery area. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and coworkers.
• Regularly read product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly bakery customer service and assist with bakery purchases.
• Clean and rotate displays; maintain front and in-dept displays in the bakery.
• Assist Baker to determine items to bake or decorate; take special orders.
• Help with department cleaning, including floor hosing and sanitation.
• Follow safety and hygiene standards; comply with food handling requirements.
