Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Conroe, TX is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk (ages 16-17) to join Store 081 Conroe. You’ll deliver great customer service, help with bakery purchases, and keep displays tidy.

Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will assist in baking support, rotate self‑serve displays, take special orders, and help with department cleaning to maintain a clean, fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the bakery and assist customers with bakery purchases.
• Clean shelving and display cases; clean, fill, and rotate self‑serve displays near the bakery.
• Take special orders and work with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate.
• Assist with department cleaning, including hosing down floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Work in a fast‑paced grocery store environment, with lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as required.
