Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Arlington, TX is seeking a Bakery Clerk (ages 16-17) to provide friendly, efficient service and support bakery operations. You will assist customers with bakery purchases, help with special orders and keep displays clean and well-stocked.

Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, you’ll rotate stock, assist with baking decisions, and help maintain a fast-paced, safe store environment. Equal employment opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend instructions, labels, prices, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and present information to customers and staff.
• Follow detailed but uninvolved instructions and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery purchases, take special orders and provide friendly service.
• Clean, stock, fill and rotate self-serve and bakery displays.
• Collaborate with the Baker on items to bake or decorate.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safe working conditions.
