Job summary

El Super Bakery Clerk in Garden Grove provides friendly, courteous service to customers and supports bakery operations. You will assist customers with bakery purchases, keep displays clean and stocked, and work with the baker on decorations and special orders.

Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, you’ll help maintain cleanliness and follow food-handling rules. A Food Handler Card or equivalent is required for food-related positions.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and pricing codes.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally as part of stock and display duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in the bakery and assist with purchases.
• Keep shelves and self-serve displays clean and stocked; assist with special orders.
• Coordinate with the bakery team to determine items to bake or decorate.
• Maintain department cleanliness and follow food-handling safety requirements.
