Job summary

El Super #49 in Long Beach is hiring a Bakery Clerk to join the Store Operations Team. Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will provide friendly service, assist customers with bakery products, and help maintain clean, rotated displays in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Responsibilities include taking special orders, coordinating with the Baker for production needs, and supporting department cleanliness. Food Handler Card is required for food-related roles.

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented approach with friendly communication.
• Ability to read product labels and price codes to assist customers.
• Willingness to lift light to moderate weights and be active in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in the Bakery Department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean and rotate displays, shelves, and self-serve areas.
