Job summary

El Super is hiring a Bakery Clerk at #47 San Fernando in California. Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will assist customers with bakery purchases, maintain display cases, and help keep the department clean and orderly.

Responsibilities include taking special orders, rotating stock, and collaborating with the baker on items to bake or decorate. The role requires physical work and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Display information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Understand and carry out basic written or oral instructions for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in the Bakery department.
• Clean shelves, display cases, and self-serve displays.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
