Qualifications

• Strong customer service and upselling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Know bakery products including prices, recipes, and uses.
• Assist customers with orders and engage in suggestive selling.
• Weigh, wrap, and process customer orders.
• Answer the telephone and take orders when necessary.
• Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Package, stock, display, and merchandise bakery goods according to company standards.
• Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, counters, display cases, and floors.
• Follow FIFO rotation and label/date leftover products; use leftovers before opening new products.
