Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cakes, icings, and other items for decorating.
• Decorates all cakes within the specified time indicated for customer orders.
• Maintains FIFO rotation; labels and dates leftovers; uses leftovers before opening new products.
• Answers telephone and takes bakery orders as necessary.
• Decorates cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods for display and bakery counter.
• Serves customers with a smile and builds relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Inspects product during baking and preparation; monitors temperatures to maintain quality and sanitation per FDA and local codes and Bristol Farms’ standards.
• Inspects finished bakery products per Bristol Farms’ standards of quality, weight, and presentation.
• Knows all cleaning chemicals authorized in the Bakery Department and uses them properly.
