Job Title: Bakery Clerk - Nights & Weekends

Reports To: Bakery Department Manager

Our bakery associates create memorable moments for our guests. We foster a dynamic, creative environment where you can contribute to a variety of bakery delights.

As a Bakery Clerk, you'll be central to bakery operations, ensuring excellent guest service, assisting with product selection and special orders, and contributing to our bakery offerings for both everyday and special occasions.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Guest Service: Greet guests, answer questions, handle concerns, assist with locating bakery items, take custom orders, and answer phone inquiries courteously.
• Merchandising: Package, price, replenish, and manage stock to ensure appealing displays and product availability.
• Food Safety: Maintain freshness, cleanliness, and safety standards, rotate stock, and keep accurate records.
• Flexibility and Team Support: Perform other duties as needed, maintain punctuality, and support team operations.

Qualifications:

• Customer Focus: Tactful and effective interaction with guests and staff.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety policies and protocols.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Stand for extended periods (80%)
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally (20%)
• Work near moving machinery (50%)
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20%)

Work Schedule: Flexible part-time and full-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
