ACK F&B operates a growing group of Paris Baguette bakery cafés with a new Bethesda store opening soon. The Assistant General Manager will lead daily operations, train staff, and ensure top-quality service while driving a culture of accountability and urgency.

The role demands hands-on leadership, flexibility for varied hours, and a focus on building systems to support future growth toward multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be willing to be hands-on in all areas of the café.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily bakery café operations.
• Learn, implement, and enforce company standards and procedures.
• Help maintain high standards for customer service, cleanliness, product quality, and guest experience.
• Manage POS and credit card systems during business hours.
• Train and coach employees to provide excellent customer service.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure timely reporting.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste control.
• Support product launches, promotions, and local marketing efforts.
