Job summary

The role focuses on recruiting, coaching, scheduling, managing costs, and executing company initiatives while ensuring safety and quality. Flexibility for nights/weekends and ServSafe certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve)
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery-cafe team, plan staffing, scheduling, people development, and performance management
• Hire, onboard, train, and motivate team members
• Manage performance to meet goals, quality standards and guest service expectations
• Develop managers on processes and Panera’s guiding values and behaviors
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food, service, and staff
• Build relationships to foster long-term guest loyalty
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and maintain a safe workplace
• Manage costs and inventory for the bakery-cafe
• Help cultivate Panera’s culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust
