You will hire and develop people, manage daily shifts, monitor quality and costs, and ensure exceptional guest service. This role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and a commitment to Panera’s values.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Background check required for employment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing bakery-cafe team and oversee operations.
• Hire, onboard, and train new team members; motivate and develop staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and training.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with high-quality food and service.
• Monitor costs, inventory, and adherence to policies and procedures.
