Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a General Manager to lead a beloved bakery-cafe with responsibility for operations, staffing and guest service. You’ll drive results, coach a high-performing team, and ensure quality food and warm Panera hospitality on every shift.

The role requires leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant, ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Background check required prior to offer.
• Proven ability to drive results through business acumen.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bakery-cafe team and oversee staffing, scheduling and development.
• Hire, onboard and train teammates while keeping the team energized and engaged.
• Manage performance to achieve goals and maintain service standards.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera’s guiding values.
• Ensure policies, safety and regulatory compliance are followed.
