Job summary

Panera LLC is seeking a General Manager Lead to oversee a beloved bakery-cafe in Sunset Hills, MO. You will own staffing, scheduling, and team development, driving performance and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will hire, train, and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence, cost control, and adherence to company policies and health standards across every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve)
• Background check required before offer

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of leading the bakery-cafe team, including staffing, scheduling, development and performance management.
• Hire, onboard, and train new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Manage team performance to meet goals, quality standards, and guest service expectations.
• Develop managers on people processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors.
• Follow operational procedures to implement company strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure guests are delighted by food quality and service, and build loyal relationships.
