Panera Bread in Champaign, IL seeks a General Manager to lead the neighborhood bakery-cafe to success. You will own operations, staffing, training, and guest experience, creating a warm Panera atmosphere and celebrating daily wins.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, performance management, cost control, and developing managers under Panera’s Guiding Values. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience
• ServSafe certification or ability to achieve
• Background check required for hire
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

Responsabilités

• Lead bakery-cafe team and oversee staffing, scheduling, development, and performance management
• Hire on-board and train new team members, motivate and celebrate the team
• Manage performance to meet goals and uphold quality and guest service standards
• Develop managers on people processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors
• Ensure operations align with company strategies and initiatives
• Maintain high guest satisfaction through food quality and service
• Foster long-term guest relationships and compliance with policies and safety
