Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals for the department.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery specials and ensure fresh products meet order quantities.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and maintain temperature logs.
• Provide customers with friendly, knowledgeable service and respond to questions about products sold within the department.
