Qualifications

• Retail experience is required or preferred.
• Bakery/cake decorating experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a busy store.
• Knowledge of basic math to handle transactions and measurements.
• Strong communication skills with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about products within the department and store.
• Gain knowledge of products and suggest options to customers.
• Offer product samples and prepare bakery items per customer requests.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and other bakery items.
• Check product quality and freshness; monitor sell-by dates.
