Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bakery Team Member to support daily bakery operations in a fast-paced environment. You will proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, stock display items, and assist customers with product recommendations.

Responsibilities include packing goods, decorating orders, rotating stock, receiving shipments, and maintaining sanitary conditions. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to company standards for a safe, friendly member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or customer service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following production charts and safety standards.
• Gathers products for the next business day and packs freshly baked goods.
• Decorates special orders and case product.
• Rotates and stores bakery items per food safety policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments and maintains cleanliness of equipment and surfaces.
