Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Associate to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, follow product handling information, and display items per production charts. You will prepare for the next day, rotate stock, and ensure freshness while providing friendly service to members.

You will also receive training on club policies, safety standards, and daily routines to deliver a clean, welcoming bakery environment and help meet department goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following production charts and safety guidelines.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments; rotates products to maintain freshness.
• Decorates special order or case products and ensures accurate pricing and labeling.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery and surrounding areas.
