Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support bakery operations and customer service on site. You will proof, bake, package, and display bakery goods, while maintaining safety, freshness, and quality standards throughout the shift.

Daily duties include answering member questions, processing orders, and rotating stock. The role requires attentiveness, teamwork, and commitment to the GOLD standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling info and production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and labels price tickets; ensures items are properly displayed and priced.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, display fixtures, and surfaces; operates bakery equipment safely.
• Maintains club policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned.
