Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Ability to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and adhere to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience while assisting the Bakery Manager in daily operations.
• Bake, mix dough, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating of pastries and bread.
• Maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing department.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures during all tasks.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards; rotate merchandise for freshness.
• Stand for long periods and handle equipment and products safely.
