Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Bakery Associate at our Caledonia, MI location. You will prepare, package, and merchandise Bakery products, stock the backroom, and coordinate with the Bakery Manager on ordering needs.

You will work with multiple departments to support store growth and uphold safety and guest experience standards. The role requires a High School Diploma (GED) preferred, 1 year retail experience preferred, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate if handling recipes, weights and measures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery products per production planner.
• Package and label Bakery products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery products per flight plan/merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with Bakery products, rotating and dating cases/buckets.
• Notify Bakery Manager if products and supplies need ordering.
• Work with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
