Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Bakery Associate to join our Holland, Michigan retail family. This role prepares, packages and ships bakery items, stocking displays and backrooms while following safety and quality guidelines.

You’ll collaborate with store teams to meet merchandising plans and guest-experience standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include labeling, inventory checks, and coordinating with the Bakery Manager to ensure orders are placed timely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in measuring ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Bakery Products per Production Plan.
• Package and Label Bakery Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Bakery Products and rotate dating cases/buckets.
• Notify Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow PPE, safety and food safety guidelines.
• Support other departments as needed.
