Job Summary

Provide leadership in the Bakery Department by directing and managing Team Members, ordering raw materials and supplies, and implementing merchandising initiatives to stimulate business growth, meet customer requirements, and maximize profits.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years

• Lifting Requirement: Up to 100 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a Bakery Manager in their absence.
• Understand and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations and align with the company's purpose, goals, and guiding principles.
• Follow procedures to eliminate out-of-stocks, maintain presentation, increase sales and customer satisfaction, ensure a safe work environment, and reduce shrinkage.
• Develop and communicate marketing plans with other departments to meet financial objectives.
• Oversee and evaluate training to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
• Maintain inventory records and track gross monthly profit according to company policy.
• Manage inventory by tracking reports and ordering raw materials to meet customer needs and maximize profits.
• Willingness to work necessary hours to complete tasks.
• Work in a store environment with exposure to bakery activities and equipment.
