Job Summary

Provide leadership in the Bakery Department by directing and managing Team Members, ordering raw materials and supplies, and implementing merchandising initiatives to stimulate business growth, meet customer requirements, and maximize profits.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 100 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a Bakery Manager in their absence.
• Understand and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide products and services that meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements, aligning with the Company's Purpose, Goals, and Principles.
• Follow all procedures to prevent out-of-stocks, maintain presentation, increase sales and customer satisfaction, ensure a safe work environment, and reduce shrinkage.
• Develop communication channels with other departments to create marketing plans that support the store's financial objectives.
• Oversee and evaluate training for department team members to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
• Maintain records of inventories and work processes to calculate gross monthly profit per Company policy.
• Manage inventory levels by tracking reports and ordering raw materials and supplies to meet customer needs and maximize profits.
• Willing to work flexible hours to complete tasks.
• Operate in a store environment with daily exposure to activities and equipment used in the bakery department.
