Job summary

Safeway is looking for a Bakery Associate in Hercules, CA to prepare breads, pastries, and desserts. You will measure, mix, shape, and bake products, and decorate items to ensure quality and presentation. Work with the bakery team to plan daily production and keep cases well-stocked and appealing.

You will engage customers, answer questions, take special orders, and contribute to a fast-paced, friendly shopping experience. Must be flexible for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using recipes and production methods.
