Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Baker for its Safeway bakery in Los Gatos, CA. You will prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods, measuring, mixing, shaping, and baking to ensure quality.

You’ll decorate items, maintain a clean, safe workspace, rotate ingredients, and assist customers with questions and special orders, thriving in a fast-paced team environment and delivering consistent, visually appealing products.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products, as well as decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area, rotate and label ingredients, and ensure products are well stocked and displayed.
• Assist customers with product questions, take special orders, and contribute to a positive service experience.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production needs and keep operations running smoothly.
