Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes. You will measure, mix, shape, and bake items, and decorate for display while keeping a clean, safe workspace and labeling ingredients.

You will interact with customers, handle special orders, and help ensure a positive shopping experience in a bustling bakery setting. Flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or food setting.
• Experience measuring, mixing, shaping, and baking using established recipes.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain presentation standards.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts per established recipes.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and rotate/label ingredients.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders, providing friendly service.
• Support bakery team to plan daily production and meet display and stock goals.
