Paris Baguette in New York City is seeking an experienced baker to join our fast-growing neighborhood bakery café team. You will contribute to donut frying, pastry decoration, and daily dessert production in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a passion for quality, strong knowledge of sanitation and food safety, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a welcoming guest experience. Weekend availability is required, with benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in frying donuts and desserts
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices

Responsibilities

• Fry donuts and decorate pastries and breads as needed
• Operate kitchen equipment and manage production in shift
• Bake recipes and prepare all desserts
• Perform general oven duties and check dough conditioning
• Prepare materials and ingredients for daily production
• Scale and shape breads, loaves, and pastries
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work station
• Follow production methods and organize bread output
• Prioritize and complete daily baking tasks
• Ensure a safe, hygienic workplace for staff and guests
• Receive, stock, and store food properly
• Inform supervisors when equipment fails or supplies run low
• Complete production records and waste reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned
