• Solid knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
• Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, sanitation, and presentation.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking processes, adjusting time and temperature to ensure consistent results.
• Decorate and finish baked goods such as cakes, tarts, and pastries with icings, glazes, and other details.
• Follow guidance from the Lead Baker and maintain company quality standards.
• Track and manage ingredient inventory; assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools to ensure proper operation and hygiene.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and pastry team members to meet daily production goals.
• Assist with general food preparation and closing duties when needed.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Manager-on-Duty.
