Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with leadership skills.
• Knowledge of baking methods and ingredients (Mexican, Central American, and American pastries).
• Experience using bakery equipment, ovens, and tools.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and mentor others.
• Basic computer and math skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fast-paced retail setting with direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with bakery orders in-store or by phone.
• Prepare doughs, batters, and mixtures; monitor oven temperatures to ensure quality.
• Stock baked goods and maintain attractive displays.
• Follow Vallarta's Bakery Safety Program and sanitation standards.
• Assist coworkers and maintain a clean, organized department environment.
• Pack, weigh, and price merchandise; minimize waste; transport products as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
