Job summary

Bonrue Bakery in Springville, UT seeks a dedicated Baker to join our back-of-house team, producing daily breads, viennoiseries, and savories from standardized recipes.

You’ll scale, mix, shape, and proof doughs, operate ovens and mixers, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while delivering consistent, high-quality goods.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional baking experience (or culinary training).
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Open availability: mornings or evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler's Permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artisan breads, viennoiseries, and savory items according to Bonrue standards.
• Scale, mix, shape, and proof doughs using established formulas.
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality.
• Keep workstations clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished goods.
• Communicate with the Head Baker on product needs and shift flow.
• Maintain pace during high-volume production windows.
• Assist with packaging, portioning, or topping items as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols consistently.
