St. Peter Food Co-op in Saint Peter, MN is seeking a full-time Baker for our Deli Bakery. You will bake a wide variety of goods—from pastries to vegan and gluten-free options—using local ingredients and warm, welcoming service.

This role features a weekend-heavy schedule ( Saturdays & Sundays 11am–7pm, Mon–Wed 1pm–9pm ) totaling 40 hours per week, with benefits including health, dental and life insurance, PTO, sick leave, and a 20% employee discount.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide a friendly, welcoming experience for shoppers.
• Previous baking experience in a deli, restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently and effectively.

• Ability to read weight measurements in lbs. & ounces in decimal format on a scale.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Our Deli Bakery is well known in the St. Peter area for providing delectable baked goods made fresh with an emphasis on using natural and local ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn how to bake a wide variety of baked goods from decadent pastries and desserts, vegan and gluten-free delights, and more. If you’re looking to expand your baking skills and experience, this is the job for you!

Schedule:

Saturdays & Sundays, 11am–7pm
Monday–Wednesday, 1pm–9pm
40 hours per week
