Job summary

JSM Airport Services, LLC seeks a skilled Machinery Maintenance Mechanic to service the automated Baggage Handling System at Denver International Airport. The role is full-time with a 24/7 schedule, requiring ability to handle PM inspections, repairs, and diagnostics on complex electro-mechanical equipment.

You will work in a dynamic team, perform preventive and repair work, read technical manuals, and operate control room monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in BHS Operations and Maintenance.
• Familiarity with the interrelationships of electro-mechanical devices.
• Capable of using a PC to diagnose and correct PLC and OS software problems.
• Capable of working unsupervised.
• Fully proficient with mechanical hand tools and tools used on BHS systems.
• Capable of using and understanding electrical test instruments.
• Electrician’s license (when work warrants).

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections and repair/rebuild of equipment.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and repairs on the BHS system.
• Clean all parts of the BHS and surrounding areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components (belts, gears, bearings, motors, pulleys, etc.).
• Inspect BHS equipment for proper operation (conveyors, lifts, diverters, readers).
• Read maintenance manuals and specs to determine repair methods.
• Operate control rooms and monitor BHS using multiple computer systems.
• Maintain turnover reports and labor time sheets for warranty reimbursement.
• Provide on-site training to Entry Support Mechanic (ESM).
• Adhere to safety and compliance training.
