Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ten years of supervisory or managerial experience at a large hub airport.
• Direct experience with Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) or similar conveyor-based systems.
• Experience managing customer relationships in a high-demand, service-driven environment.
• Experience with payroll, invoicing, and operational reporting.
• Ability to obtain necessary airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations and oversee technicians and support staff in a lean team.
• Own payroll, invoicing, and billable labor/parts tracking.
• Prepare and submit detailed monthly invoices for labor, subs, and parts.
• Maintain strong airport authority relationships as primary contact.
• Direct day-to-day BHS operations, ensuring uptime and quick repairs.
• Manage inventory, CMMS, and proactive parts ordering.
• Fulfill contract requirements with reporting and documentation.
• Foster a safety culture in compliance with standards.
• Mentor teammates to build a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Schedule work shifts and ensure coverage for operations.
• Respond to issues and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Record site activity, labor, parts usage, and reporting.
