Job summary

Vanderlande Logistics LLC is hiring for a full-time Baggage Handling Floor Support at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) in Baltimore, MD. The role supports the baggage handling system under supervision, ensuring safe and efficient operations on site.

Qualified applicants must pass background checks; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. The position emphasizes teamwork, excellent customer service, and attention to detail, with benefits beginning on Day One and a $1,000

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide quality customer service.
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced airport environment.

Responsibilities

Safely clearing baggage jams when they occur.
Assisting technicians with mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
Manually moving baggage during system outages.
Manually encoding baggage tags when required.
Performing general housekeeping and cleanup of work areas and conveyor equipment.
Monitoring and assisting the flow of baggage through critical areas of the system.
Supporting safe and efficient baggage handling operations throughout the airport.
