Vanderlande Logistics LLC at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) in Baltimore, MD is seeking experienced Mechanical and Controls Technicians for Sr. Technician roles to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test BHS equipment in a fast‑paced environment.

The position requires five+ years of industrial maintenance experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and strong electro‑mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills including 480V systems, VFDs, PLCs, and CMMS usage.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Strong electro-mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) and related equipment.
• Prepare accurate written reports on safety, operations, and maintenance activities.
• Interpret equipment data and adjust maintenance schedules as needed.
• Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts for BHS operation.
• Ensure PM and PdM procedures are scheduled and documented.
• Comply with safety requirements and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
