Vanderlande Logistics in Houston (IAH) is hiring a full-time Baggage Handling Floor Support to assist the baggage system team at the airport. You will work five 8-hour shifts, supporting technicians, clearing bag jams, encoding bag tags, and assisting with routine maintenance.

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, reliable communication, attention to safety, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and airport security screenings.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of Baggage Handling systems under supervision.
• Safely clear bag jams when they occur.
• Assist technicians with mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
• Manually move baggage during system outages and encode tags when required.
• Clean work areas and monitor baggage flow through critical system zones.
