Job summary

Mt Southington Restaurant & Lounge Inc. is seeking a Bag Check Attendant to provide secure, friendly storage services for guests’ belongings while delivering excellent guest service.

You will greet guests, tag and store items, verify claim tickets, and ensure a safe, organized bag check area. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and customer service skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Receive, tag, store, and retrieve guests’ bags, backpacks, and personal items accurately.
• Maintain an organized and secure bag storage area.
• Verify claim tickets before releasing stored items.
• Answer guest questions and provide information about mountain facilities and services.
• Monitor the bag check area to ensure safety and security of belongings.
• Report lost, damaged, or suspicious items according to mountain procedures.
• Follow all cash handling procedures.
• Complete required training as assigned by mountain leadership.
• Accurately record all hours worked and resolve discrepancies before the end of each pay period.
• Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership.
