Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Burlington, MA is seeking a Validation Specialist to perform bacterial retention testing and microbial filter validation tests in line with approved SOPs. You will plan testing activities, document results, and support GLP/GMP practices.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Life Science and 1+ years of aseptic lab experience; preferred experience with LabVantage or Smartsheet and strong data integrity skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology or Life Science is required.
• 1+ years of experience with aseptic techniques and sterile environments.
• Experience documenting work according to Good Documentation Practices and ALCOA+.

Responsibilities

• Plan testing activities, prepare equipment and materials, and use lab and data-management tools to deliver accurate results.
• Document work according to GDP and ALCOA+; support technical reviews and report deviations.
• Maintain equipment and environments; perform water and environmental monitoring and culture preparations.
• Handle samples and solvents safely and support occasional weekend activities.
